- On cloth backing in pencil: From the files of the Society of Oldest Inhabitants. Deposited by Henry C. Gauss in 1920's (?). One of 12 maps.
- At right edge in lead pencil: No. 6 Dec. 10, 1890, J.S.
- Black, brown, and red inks, watercolors, and lead pencil.
- Watermarks: L Munn 1794, GR, [crown over fleur-de-lis].
- Originally drawn on several sheets.
