Old map of Decatur Region, Georgia, United States.
- Shows environs of Decatur, Georgia including the "line of the enemy," the position of a Union battery, and the positions of the 15th and 17th Army Corps.
- Relief shown by hachures.
- Similar map appears in the U.S. War Dept.'s Atlas to accompany the official records of the Union and Confederate armies, 1891-95, pl. 45, no. 3. A note on the printed copy states that "McPherson handed me this sketch a few moments before he was killed, July 22, 1864 (W. T. Sherman)."
- Title and date from Stephenson's Civil War maps, 1989.
