- Pen-and-ink and pencil on tracing linen.
- In ink in another hand: Grant 12 April 1825.
- Oriented with north to the bottom.
- In pen and ink on octagonal blue bordered label in lower right corner: 851 1825.
- Transferred from the USCGS January 15, 1914.
