  • British-produced maps showing British-German naval-battle actions in the North Sea on 31 May1916 to the west of Denmark, which actions were later called "The Battle of Jutland"--the largest naval battle of World War One.
  • Common title adapted by cataloguer from the individual sheet titles.
  • On sheets where the name "The Battle off Jutland" appears, the middle word is spelt "off", not "of".
  • Some sheets have the commanding admiral's name below the sheet title, for example: JnBellicoe 18 June 1916; David Beatty.
  • May have been removed from a textual publication (unidentified).
  • Some sheets include text, notes, and index of battle positions.
