  • In pencil on paper slip affixed to cloth backing: Map found in an old closet in 1859 at Mt. Vernon exhibiting a portion of the city of Washington D.C. & supposed to be a part of the plat made by Geo. Washington.
  • Pen-and-ink, watercolors, and lead pencil.
  • Originally drawn on 5 sheets.
  • Darkened, halved, and mounted on cloth backing.
