- Shows fortifications near Mechanicsville, describes several bridges across the Chickahominy River as destroyed, and gives the names of some residents.
- Date, title, and scale from Stephenson's Civil War maps, 1989.
- Pen-and-ink on 3/4 in. pencil grid on two sheets of paper pasted together and mounted on cloth.
